Who is Eligible?
All CECU members are welcome to join the plan. Applicants will be required to undergo a medical evaluation.
What is the cost?
Monthly premiums are offered in three (3) coverage types:
Members - Age 60 and under

* A processing fee is applicable.
What about my pre-existing condition?
Members joining the plan with an existing medical condition will have limited coverage of $1000 for the first 24 months upon entry to the plan.
Limitation would be to the specific condition only, but all other eligible medical claims will be honoured.
After the 24 months all eligible claims will be honoured.
(This is applicable to members who enrolled in the open enrollment period.)
Who is considered a dependent?
The following persons will be eligible to be put onto a member's plan as a dependent:
- Spouse (Married/Common Law)
- Children under age 18. (Children attending University will be allowed up to age 23.)
What are the benefits:
- Major Medical Coverage: $300,000, $500,000 or $1,000,000
- Ground and Air Ambulance Coverage
- International Medical Card
- Surgery Coverage

CUNA Pension Plus
CECU seeks to take care of its members and we have again joined hands with CUNA Caribbean to make available to our members, Pension Plus, a total pension package that provides benefits now and after you retire.
- Must be between 18 - 55 yrs.
- Minimum payment of $125 per month
- Tax benefit of up to $12,000
- No medical exam required
- Portable plan
- First Home withdrawal option.
